This story starts at the end. Skyline To is such a hidden gem on the Blond(e?) album. It's barely a song and more of a story set to music. This is the Frank Ocean sound
2. Japanese Denim - Daniel Caesar
"I'm so in love, so in love."
This song is light, sweet and hopeful. Setting the scene of this audio tale, Japanese Denim sings us through love's first stages. Daniel Caesar is from Toronto and all of his songs are brilliant. His sound is very clearly defined in all of it's weirdness. It's a blend of R&B/Soul and Rock if that makes any sense. It's cool enough for the hip and pleasant enough for the moms.
3. A Simple Go - Mar
I have no idea who this guy is or where I found him but this song is smooth and sexy. His falsetto and the guitar really come out of nowhere on this otherwise cool and indie electronica track. I love every part of it.
4. Yours - SG Lewis
If you're an avid Spotify user, you probably know SG Lewis. He's a prince of the platform and one of the best producers working right now.
5. East Liberty - PARTYNEXTDOOR
"The summer's over and we're watching the sun finally set."
